No, it lists 1Gig as the max available - it says the motherboard could accept 2Gig if 512 meg DIMMS were available


Do you ever actually read anything? First, the E-5400 is 840 based, so it doesn't use DIMMs, it uses RDRAM-based RIMMs. Second, please go to http://www.gatewayatwork.com/gw_atwork/promotion/e5400/index.asp (this is the E-5400 page from following the same links I posted to Carl, but branching off to the workstations section) and point out any comments about using 512M RIMMs. It simply says "Up to 2GB 400 MHz RDRAM Memory".

Please stop wasting everyone's time and check your information more carefully.
