The numbers reported should probably close the door on G*--in its present incarnation--as a Gorilla Candidate.

hi john,
so far i have agreed with perhaps every word of your's that i have ever read on many threads.

we may disagree a bit on gstrf...

since gstrf is the "only game" in its space...i cannot rule it out completely. i am very fond of monopolies.

i agree the quarter numbers were not great..but heck...they just got started. i am willing to give them some time...on the first you crawl, then you walk, then you run theory.

i listened closely to the LOR conference call last week and must say...bernie definitely left me with the impression that advanced future financing for gstrf is assured. he all but said it is in place from the infrastruture companies.

seems to me...they must believe...(btw Dr J from Q is in that group). i agree some dilution may be required...but if the financing is there...bankruptcy will not happen. LOR owns 40% of gstrf..so i gotta believe the ceo.

the gstrf rollout continues...several new country gateways have just been added including russia this week. further worldwide expansion continues at a very reasonable pace.

i was in iridf early and got out immediately when they announced software problems(thank goodness).
gstrf has no such problems...the gstrf system works well. i have several friends with phones. imo gstrf is across the chasm, knocking down bowling pins and building a value chain.

i waited to get into gstrf until very recently. those who bought in earlier may be in a difficult position.

a coupla years ago, i read studies done by LOR, GE, and a few others that assured me that the need exists...nothing has changed my mind...i believe the demand is there.
i understand the risk...i also understand the reward if the pro-forma numbers are anywhere near close.

i plan to hold gstrf as long as the infra-structure rollout continues and the system develops no flaws. i believe the sales numbers will be there if only from the military and government organizations in the world.

i cannot make a gg argument because i cannot prove a tornado...but i do believe it is coming.
i plan to add everytime there is a significant positive event.
