Hi ADB,

You're a kidder, what a handle. <gg>

The thing to remember about Navallier is that he has a reputation for front running his newsletter clients. That said, he seems to do quite well for himself. I've seen his lists in the past and they are not bozo class, for sure.

As far as AMCC is concerned, I think it is one of two semi shops that I really like, the other being PMCS. These have been my best performers over the past 6 and 12 months.

So the only two question I see asking is 1) how much volatility can you tolerate, because it won't be worth your while to invest in AMCC if you get shaken out easily and 2) what would a suitable entry point be.

I can't answer point one for you, hopefully you've observed your behavior in the recent debacle and can judge how you react to market meltdowns. And as far as an entry point, considering the time of year, I'd say you have a few weeks before you have to decide if you want to ride this bronc. The 200 dma is about 95. If August gets ugly, pick it up there. Otherwise, look to the 50 dma for a support level at about 120 around Labor Day. Hey, it's just a roll of the dice in August. Remember this thing can lose the support of the momo crowd at the slightest rumor. The last one (NT sales momentum slowdown) was good for some trading profits. :))

Best, Ray
