Continental Airlines General Manager Joins GTMI's High Powered Executive Team

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Aug. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Global TeleMedia International (OTC Bulletin Board: GTMI) (www.GTMI.com) announced today that it has recruited David P. Bentley, a former General Manager with Continental Airlines to assist in the launch and global marketing of its state of the art VoIP, VPN and ITSP Australian National Network. Additionally upon the successful launch he will integrate the MessagePilot and Smart-e-Card into the Company's Networks in Australia and the Philippines.
David Bentley, served 8 years in the Royal Australian Air Force, in technology and engineering roles including training as a Flight Engineer. After leaving the Air Force he was employed by Qantas Airways engineering division, supporting new generation Boeing 747 and 767 aircraft. In 1988, Mr. Bentley formed a successful promotional and product launch specialist company in Sydney, Australia's "New York." He worked with the largest multi-national advertising and promotional companies and participated in the product launches of numerous products from leading brands. A large part of his experience includes frequent dealings with manufacture and supply companies across Southeast Asia.

Mr. Bentley will spend a month working in Newport Beach and Dallas with COO John Walsh and CTO Ken Heffner before going to Australia and the Philippines to coordinate resource allocation and product deployment throughout the two countries. He will also meet with other VoIP Companies here in the USA to discuss strategic alliances or partnerships for trans-pacific VoIP and VPN.
