Hi Don Lloyd; One of the things a typical human is very good at doing is putting himself into the position of another person, or a prospective position for himself, and seeing the world through another's eyes.
Surely Warren Buffet (or I) can see ourselves as owning INTC, for instance, before we buy the shares.
On the other hand, even though humans can imagine the viewpoint of a rock, bush, building, animal, or a corporation, there is no real reason to modify one's behavior accordingly. This is a human world, not a corporate one. We are humans, and we have no real hope of incorporating ourselves. In fact, we're already corporeal. (G)
Another thing we should do, as long as we are waiting for the market to open, is to analyze the exigencies of a hostile company takeover but from the point of view of the desk chairs.

P.S. Please forgive the bad grammar. I am having trouble with the singular vs plural vs human vs non human, what with the topic of conversation. |
