Hey Mars, you've gone into orbit...

Last I checked most of the world's cemeteries are filled with the bodies of people who never smoked.

Father Terrence observes:

The anti-tobacco campaign is another step by the federal government and world governments to constrict the freedoms, rights and liberty of individuals. It is of the same ilk as the "laws" that were passed that violate the Ninth Amendment , such as taking previously legal substances such as marijuana, cocaine, heroin and alcohol and making them criminal and attaching jail sentences to the distribution or use of them.

Now the anti-liberty, anti-individual crowd seeks to do the same with tobacco. I predict this evil trend (if not stopped) will next campaign against the banning of red meat, hydrogenated vegetable oils, and most processed foods since the evidence is strong that (especially in the case of hydrogenated vegetable oils and trans-fatty acids) these foods have done more to harm and kill people than any of the cigarettes ever manufactured.

According to Father Terrence, "thinking dependence" is a recognized disease and causes 3.5 million people to become born again parrots each year -- or one every 9 seconds.

And worse, if current lifespans persist, about 6 BILLION people alive today will all be dead within 100 years.

This must end! If we could send men to the Moon; we can at least extend the human lifespan to 1,000 years...
