Fat is not as immediately destructive as drug abuse.... Yes, Guiliani has cleaned up NYC quite a bit, although out of towners often exaggerated how bad it was. Generally, one can figure out the subway from the maps. In the larger stations, there should be an information booth....... The idea was to decrease congestion and smog by getting people to commute on the Metro. With some of the arteries very clogged, and weekday parking very expensive, it works pretty well, actually. The light rail would work better if it were dispersed better. Annapolis is a major commuter center, and we do not have a station of our own. The Bowie station is about 10 or 15 minutes off the highway, so it is a bit inconvenient........
