S3 Announces Resignation of CFO
SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 7, 2000--S3® Incorporated (Nasdaq:SIII - news) today announced that Walter (Walt) D. Amaral has resigned from his position as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer to pursue other interests. S3 has already initiated a search for his replacement and has appointed Bill McFarland, S3 Vice President and Corporate Controller, as acting Chief Financial Officer until the search is completed.
