Dear Silicon Investor Members and Guests:

A brief post to introduce myself…

You may have already seen Bryan’s introductory PM, or we may have met at the SI birthday party. If not, the brief version is that Bryan has been promoted and is taking on new responsibilities within Go2Net, and I am moving into his role with Silicon Investor. Bryan will still be around SI in spirit and so we have dubbed him Managing Director Emeritus. I guess he gets to stick his nose in from time to time but doesn’t have to do any of the hard work. :-)

I am excited to be a part of the SI team and the SI community. SI is clearly the best investing community on the web and I believe this is because you actively provide your feedback. I have read through most of your recent comments and have a good feel for your current ideas and concerns. I will of course continue to actively read the Silicon Investor ThinkTank (and other threads). I can’t promise to respond to all your postings, but I will jump in when I can.

As a bit of background, I spent most of my career developing and marketing information and transaction services for the professional financial market. For the past several years I was with Reuters in New York and overseas.

I look forward to working at Silicon Investor and getting to know you better. Thanks in advance for your ideas and comments.

Thanks,
Mike.
