Freeus, You were asking me about what to do with your investments. I would like to add a comment about a possible method of investing for you. Buy one or more of G or K's you like, use a 1/4th of your money (I would use stops of 10% maybe 15% would be better for you, but that's anti G gaming but that's how protect my account), then one month later add another 1/4, then a month later add another 1/4 if during this time you catch that the market went down big time, add the 1/4 the next day if the month is not up yet, keep a 1/4 in cash to use if you run into another king. Stop looking at the market every day. Leave that to the pros or the nut cases like myself. <g> Start reading about what is going to happen over the horizon, which in my mind, is JOB ONE for every successful investor. Investing is not about what is happening now, it is about what is happen 6 to 12 or more months down the road. Look at it you holdings once a week, better yet once a month. Finally STOP USING OPTION.
Also, I would like to add one more post to wrap up my current thinking about the PC sector slow down and the possible cell sector slow down and the build out of the Next Big Thing, broadband wireless and wireland, and what stocks I have in my account that fit how I see it.
Below is a PM that I just sent off to someone which pretty much covers my understanding of what is happening. They mention that they agreed with my thinking above after reading my post on this thread. I have added a little to it since I have sent it off to them.
<<Well, PC sector slow down is easy to see, the cell sector we could of seen the beginning of the slow down with NOK. I have adjusted my account to what I feel is happening now and what I feel will be happening as we build out the broadband wireless and wireland, that's why I hold the following stocks, JNPR, CSCO, ORCL, JDSU, NTAP, EMC, NT, EXTR, and SUNW and not any semiconductor, pc, or cell related stocks. Since I feel I'm close enough to cell story and have a good handle on the cell sector in general, I haven't committed any funds to it while I wait for the promise of the 3G roll out to become better defined. (The wait for 3G is going to be longer then most people realize, so the wait might be a long one.) Also, I don't know if I mentioned this on the G&K thread, but I feel there is not enough electrical power to power all this equipment that will be needed to build out the broadband wireless and wireland. First signs of that are happening in cal. as we type, so I have invested in REI and DUK Also, I'm thinking about adding PWER ( I have been trading this one, that's no no for G&K'er) for a shovel maker play to all the communication equipment that will be need, but it looks so weak I'm staying away from it till it looks better to me.>>
