GEORGE... REGARDING SILENT PERIODS...

The silent period is not just PRE IPO but also POST IPO as well. I believe that quiet period is 1 month, or 20 BUSINESS days in which the company CAN NOT release any PR related reports.

However, we have seen PERTINENT and relevant news hit the tape PRIOR to quiet period ending several times. I have not figured out what the reason for this was.

Since I am not very involved in IPO's and underwritings my knowledge is limited regarding the RULES of quiet periods. Perhaps LPS5 or someone else has more information...
