Milpitas, California, July 30 (Bloomberg) -- C-Cube Microsystems Inc. may be a takeover target for Broadcom Corp. or Texas Instruments Inc., TGT Capital Partners analyst Campbell Gibson told Forbes magazine in its ''Streetwalker'' column. C-Cube was spun off from a similarly-named parent company this year and is forging into promising markets such as coder- decoder chips used in recordable DVD players, Web-based phone service and streaming video. Its shares sell at about 2 times sales and 16 times earnings, while competitor Broadcom sells at 104 times sales, Forbes said.
