Blake, re: <Vaporware upon vaporware upon vaporware...>

Look's like Micron has intro'd development kit's for second tier accounts.

MICRON TECHNOLOGY, INC. INTRODUCES A NEW DESIGNER'S
TOOL BOX AND ENABLEMENT KIT TO SUPPORT DDR SDRAM
MEMORY TECHNOLOGY

As part of the toolbox, Micron is also providing DDR SDRAM
Enablement Kits and DDR product samples that system designers may
use to develop and validate DDR SDRAM systems. Designers have their
choice of DDR SDRAM component and module samples as well as a
platform supporting either unbuffered or registered DDR SDRAM
modules. Each of the DDR Enablement Kits includes a DDR SDRAM
motherboard, an unbuffered or registered 128MB DIMM module, and
support documentation.

(Note you get a complete kit of parts, including motherboard and unbuffered or registered 128MB DIMM module's).

And it seem's from the articles I've read, the tier one accounts have been designing DDR system's for desk tops for some time now. I expect to see a number of introductions at Fall Comdex.
