Thread- Someone on this thread was making the case, many months ago(maybe a year?) that the CLECs may be fodder for the ILECs. Looks like this deal may be a start. I never knew how to evaluate the CLECs and still don't today. For $800 million Verizon can take a controlling interest? Puzzles me. Seems to me that says that NPNT is overvalued. Maybe someone that follows the CLECs could explain.

And the other thing that puzzles me, why would the FCC allow the ILECs to eliminate competition by acquisitions? -MikeM(From Florida)
