Ben Holmes:

ChipPac: Profitable! We like the group, we like this market and we like this deal!

Compugen: Non-edgar filing. Until we see a prospectus, no opinion.

Esperion Therapeutics: Drug discovery deals are working, but don't wait to long to take any profit they deliver. Most of these companies are years away from profitablity, if ever.

Evolve Software: This company is losing nearly 7x revenues. Deals like this scare me lately and may be a little early for the public round. Again, buy it if you must, but be ready to jettison your position if it doesn't deliver a premium right away.

Lipman Electronic Engineering: Non-edgar filing. No opinion.

McDATA: Everyone likes this deal. I certainly do.

Pharsight: Picks and shovels for biotech companies. Losses are heavy but not crushing. Small premium.

RadView Software: We're hearing that this one is in fine shape. Looking for a decent premium right away.

Saturn Electronics & Engineering: 7/25/00 Shares increased from 8,000,000 and price increased from 9.00 - 11.00. Hey, look, another OEM electronics shop! This one's losing money which in my book puts it behind the two others that are profitable in the queue. Call it a Small Premium deal.

ServiceWare Technologies: Good sector and the customer list is killer. My problem is with Bear Stearns lately -- they've just not been performing. I like it for about a buck.

SynQuest: Losses are considerable and as I mentioned above, the underwriter is in a slump. This one looks like a Small Premium deal.
