Why I bought and continue to hold Valence! Any casual lurker who came to this thread to actually get any real information on Valence could be forgiven if they left shaking their heads in disbelief and believing the thread is populated by idiots and nutcases - and with good reason... However I bought Valence because. IMO.. 1. Li Poly is currently the best technology for batteries for portable devices. 2. Valence is further ahead than any other company in mass producing Li Poly batteries. 3. They have patent protection for significant improvements in the manufacture of Li Poly batteries. 4. The market for portable devices that require batteries is growing explosively. 5. Inadequate battery performance with the present batteries is a major source of customer dissatisfaction and limitation in the use of these portable devices. 6. Despite a number of setbacks Valence has survived and is now producing batteries in quantity. Of course there are likely to be further hurdles to overcome but I am prepared to wait, buy more on dips and end up with a nice profit within 2 years.. Remember the old adage: If it was easy everyone would be doing it....
