Another reason... Valence management, scientists and engineers. They are the heart of an upstart American company which confounded the behemoths. Not so long ago, seemingly with one foot in the grave, Valence could always rely on their CEO, backers and board of directors, some really big names in industry and venture capital. As a result, the scientists' hard won patents and processes are coming into full play.
