IMHO SB started it's downward spiral when the nicknames were introduced.I found it a feeble attempt to bring "folksy" charm to a venue that needed none.

I of course have no way of knowing who initiated such a juvenile concept but I do know they missed the mark by the proverbial mile.Nicknames are best left in ones childhood or at the least personal settings and shouldn't be foisted on the public.

This is a morning show and a good percentage of the viewers are getting prepared for the work day and want news,facts ,opinions and not silly humor,mocking background sounds such as the utterance( Qualcomm) by Joe K back in Dec.or oh so cute pseudonyms.
