I wish he'd oink into oblivion but this pig'll be around for a long long time. Even though he's an embarrassment to even his best friends:

HYANNIS PORT, Mass. (AP) -- President Clinton, making his first visit to the fabled Kennedy family compound, raised
eyebrows about a supposed flirtation with one clan member even as he was raising campaign cash for another.

Clinton joked that he really wasn't there to raise money for Maryland Lt. Gov. Kathleen Kennedy Townsend's gubernatorial
campaign, but to see her mother, family matriarch Ethel Kennedy.

The president startled the crowd when he said he would like to stay overnight at Ethel's house -- and have the newspapers write about it.

''Ethel, you may have to put me up tonight -- and if so that would tickle me, because Ethel's been sending me these raunchy Valentine cards for years -- and I'm completely in love with her,'' the president said as the audience giggled.

''And I keep trying to get some tabloid to write something sleazy about it, and I haven't been able to so far,'' Clinton said.

But Clinton did not linger when his speech was over. He flew directly back to the island of Martha's Vineyard off the
Massachusetts coast, his headquarters for a weekend fund-raising whirlwind.

His schedule included two fund-raisers on Martha's Vineyard on Sunday for his wife, first lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, who is running for a U.S. Senate seat from New York.
