Royal York's Secret... Garden!

something the public's never seen before... the Executive Chef's private
rooftop herb garden high up in the clouds over Toronto. For the first time,
hotel guests are invited to visit the highrise herbarium, one of Canada's
largest, for a special weekend package full of gardening, greening, and

Available only September 8-9th, 2000, the two night Botany & Beds Package
takes 'herb-an' gardening to new heights. Guests receive a private garden tour
with Executive Chef John Cordeaux and will have a chance to first gather herbs
and then participate in an oil and vinaigrette-making session. Guests will
spend time with gardening professionals, including renowned herbalist Conrad
Richter of Richter's Herbs.

Chef's Table dinner featuring dishes accented by fresh herbs from the rooftop
garden and paired with fine wines. Package includes accommodation on Royal
York's exclusive Entree Gold on the 12th floor, where guest's needs are
anticipated with such personal service as on-floor check-in and check-out,
complimentary deluxe continental breakfast, `honour bar service', and
complimentary hors d'oeuvres in the evening.
Package prices start at $559 CDN ($399 USD) per person based on double
