I think you are right. These are classics with 750 based motherboards. This stinks. I thought I saw a reference to Thunderbirds in the past.

I am still concerned that AMD might soon completely run out of the classics and the infrastructure is not ready for the new TBirds and Durons.

I think the KT133 chipset may be ok by now from quality standpoint, the biggest problem is quantity. I don't know if the info on the Realworld Tech site realworldtech.com was correct, but I suspect that it was. They mention that in June Via delivered 300 thousands unit and they are going to shoot for 500K!!! This is ridiculous.

I hope AMD will in the future pay back Via for this level of support.
