This is fairly significant news wouldn't this board agree? BMC partnering with MSFT on the .Net initiative is a solid
endorsement and from a company that has been mainframe focused in the past.

BMC Software Teams With Microsoft to Deliver Tightly Integrated and Manageable Customer Solutions Based On
the
Microsoft.NET Enterprise Servers
BMC Software Inc. (Nasdaq: BMCS chart, msgs), the leading provider of e-business systems management, today
announced that it has been selected by Microsoft to be a member of Microsoft's Global Enterprise Partner group. As
a member of this group, BMC Software is one of a limited number of partners who will work closely with Microsoft
on a global level to deliver the highest quality service level management solutions to customers as they deploy
Microsoft Windows DNA 2000 based platforms, the Microsoft.NET Enterprise Servers all based on Microsoft
Windows(R) 2000.
BMC Software will continue to work closely with Microsoft development, marketing, sales and support teams to
develop management solutions that are necessary to keep customers' Windows-based applications running non-stop.
In addition, BMC Software developers will work onsite with other professionals at Microsoft's Redmond, Wash., lab
to develop solutions based on Microsoft's Windows 2000, Windows DNA 2000 Architecture and .NET Enterprise
Servers.
