I wonder if SUNW is the DELL of yesterday years.

We believe Sun could become the next Dell if Sun would put its low end workstations into a box, and sell it in stores like COMP USA.

The consumer would take it home and plug it in. SUNW already has STAR OFFICE so there is your software.

HAIM has made some ridiculous statements about Sun's products. I don't have the technical expertise to answer them, but I'll try to get information from my husband.

SUN gives away free software because it encourages programmers to write code to support the UNIX platform. Also, Sun makes money because the company not only charges for their products, but it also charges a fee for technical expertise. When you order a Sun workstation, it doesn't come with instructions. The owner has to set everything up for himself so that is why we would like to see a low-end Sun workstation in Comp USA.

We think it would sell very, very well.
