Interesting thread that you started here. With the idea of broadening the subject matter, as stated in an earlier
post a discussion of CRUTS and CRATS and such could fit.

I have been reading some literature on them but have some questions, perhaps you could address or point me to a reference.

1. When you set up a CRUT you name a charity as beneficiary, at that time? And if so, can you change the charity that
you picked at a later date or is it final?

2. While I know many charities will help do the paperwork what is the going rate for set up of a CRUT.
