Back to that NY Mag article, I finally read it all. This part is particularly poignant: In New York now, you have to be a capitalist. Only the people who own property and stock are increasing their wealth, and everybody who relies on their labor is just getting fucked. Even the doctors and lawyers, like me! It is a grotesque situation. The idea of selling your time is a waste of time. The best thing to do is sleep in and call up your money manager and ask how your stock portfolio is going. "Now," he adds, "praying for the crash is basically my only financial strategy. HO HO HO! Guy sounds like LT!
