Two things to consider:

1) I got a call from my new broker at Merrill today: encouraging me to sell some BRCM in my IRA account. His "advice" was to take some of my substantial unrealized gains in BRCM and put them into Georgia-Pacific Convertible Preferreds. Needless to say, I was polite, and reminded him that BRCM is the next Intel and that their market cap is only around $60 billion today, but in twenty years could be $600 billion or more. I plan on retiring in 20 years anyway. I didn't sell. By the way, Merrill is a MM for BRCM - my suspicions tell me something is up.

2) OT, but worth it: Sirius Satellite Radio is having good success getting up and running. To anyone interested in taking a bit of a gamble, check out SIRI. A break through $50 tomorrow will send the stock into orbit.

Cheers to all, Keith

P.S. Ray, good article. Thanks. If AG brings in a soft landing, I will retract all negative comments I have ever uttered about him.
