Hi KIKIDOLL in Galveston: A bigger computer you say? Just when I've mastered my laptop and the Theory of Relativity? I'd rather make love to a colony of leperous porcupines than tackle a new computer. No, I shall perservere and prevail. No DSL yet in my town, I've got cable moden though. My son-in-law Danny, a real computer whiz, gets back from Switzerland this weekend where he's fixing some corporation's messed up system and he'll straighten me out. The way it usually works is; I call him and say "Hey Danny, I really missed you. Come on over (he lives close by) and we'll watch the Red Sox (or N.E. Patriots or Tiger Woods or Julia Childs...whomever) and I'll cook up something and we'll have a beer or two" and when he gets here I'll say "Gee Danny, I have a little 'puter problem...could you take a look for a coupla minutes?" And Danny can't sit before any computer for a coupla minutes...and in a half hour or two or three he fixes all problems...fingers flying over the keyboard faster than Van Kliburn's over a piano keyboard. Always works. If he gets held up overseas I'll ask you for help. Thanks Schick. (Lee)
