Recently, the references to competition have made me think about a book I read last year. Now, as I was just looking at the Presstek annual report, I saw that they mentioned the same book. The book is "Inside the Tornado" by Geoffrey Moore. This book along with Moore's "Crossing the Chasm" is required reading for anyone having anything to do with high-tech start-ups. A tornado is used as the analogy of what happens when a new market explodes. This is where the leaders of a new market emerge and the competition turns into the "other guys." I would recommend this book to anyone following Presstek. Paul
