Dear Zebity,
Totally agree that we need some more intelligent signs of life from the company mgmt. In addition to your request for a financial plan--with which i concur--i would like to see BAM mgmt show what chance we have of eventually making a dividend on our investment.
It seems that BAM's share price may remain beneath the profit line for many of us investors EVEN IF we do eventually find some gold. The combination of the mining industry, the attitude toward gold and perhaps most of all, our mgmt's track record leads me to say this.
Perhaps elucidating another potential means of income from investment in BAM wouldn't be a bad idea.
So, what plans/vision does the company have for eventually developing our gold discoveries into revenue/dividends for shareholders. When people buy stock in this ...company, are they buying into a potential mining house? I know what i thought i bought into.
At the moment i can't help but feeling that we who invested in the company a long time ago are up the creek without a proverbial.
Admittedly, at this time if i had the proverbial i might just use it to beat our company geniuses about the head...and that may be the danger of our situation: getting too bitter and not seeing the good stuff that the mgmt do.
But look, i've got 100,000 shares...i try bloody hard to see the competent, positive side and i just don't.
I don't know about you, but i assume you too have been waiting now for what? six months for the summer exploration season at Kidston etc. to start. It was the bright spot on the horizon.
So does BAM mgmt build on these results? Does it give anything to hold onto, look forward to, understand? No.
Note to mgmt: We're not a bunch of bloody geos out here. Can we have a press release that shows what the geo details actually imply in real terms: i.e., what is BAM hoping will come next? Are indeed the results what they've been looking for ?! I'm sick to death of cross section this and breccia pipe that and numbers numbers numbers.
I know we have stuff to be happy about. We still have our extremely sought after properties. Surely we can do better than 6 cents. I think it's too easy to blame the general malaise in the mining industry.
