well as expected we are still moving up on great productivity numbers and now CSCO has a terrific Q...we are very overbought here..and later today i would expect some profitaking into the cycle lows which will be much higher lows tomr the 10th end of day....and then the pattern is bullish right thru Labor Day....
i have checked all indexs on both daily candle charts and P&F, everything i see is setting up for a test of the recent highs, maybe even higher when we get past the FOMC...
the last 2 wl's were supberb..hope you got on the BLUE train..wowowowowow..

Earnings news: Despite beating estimates BRL sold off 8% on Tuesday. Look for a possible recovery on Wednesday. ANEN had a fine report after the close leading it up 10 after hours. It will most likely gap up quite a bit, but it can pull back a percentage from the open and most likely will be a bullish breakaway gap.
AZPN beat estimates and was up in the after hours. AZPN was up 3 11/16 after hours on top of the "anticipatory upswing" of 7 1/4% during market hours. CSCO by now you all know beat estimates and was also up.
1> AVCI - AVICI SYS INC Price= 125.7
Oversold. AVCI made a morning attempt in the first 3 15-minute bars to fill the down gap and it almost succeeded. MACD breakout on the 15 minute chart near the end of trading.
2> MANH - MANHATTAN ASSOCS INC Price= 44.3
3> CLRN - CLARENT CORP DEL Price= 32.9
A reversal on the daily chart so small you can barely see it but it came on climactic volume. Just a little good news and a nasdaq rally will probably lead to more gains.

4> SAWS - SAWTEK INC Price= 41.6
Its going to take a nasdaq rally to move this oversold company in a deep downtrend. However on 8/03/00 SAWS has an impressive rally after a rather large gap down. Watch SAWS during the first 5 minute charts. Any bullish reversal candlestick can be a buy. If SAWS gaps down, wait for 30 minutes of trading and put in a buy above the high of the day.
5> EFNT - EFFICIENT NETWORKS INC Price= 61.2
6> ZIXI - ZIXIT CORP Price= 41.7
7> MRVC - MRV COMMUNICATIONS INC Price= 61.0
MRVC still has a fair chart and is trading in the zone between its 20 and 50 day moving average. In this case, the 20 day moving average is falling but with the CCI still in a positive uptrend and the fall on lower than average volume, MRVC is about ready to reverse.
