NEWS RELEASE DRC proceeding with $5-million financing DRC Resources Corporation DRC Shares issued 4,486,016 Aug 4 close $6.75 Tue 8 Aug 2000 News Release Mr. John Kruzick reports DRC Resources has received Canadian Venture Exchange acceptance for the $5-million brokered private placement financing of special warrants. DRC Resources and Thomas Kernaghan & Co. Limited have completed the documentation pertaining to the closing of the financing and the funds have been received by the company. The proceeds bring the company's current cash position to $5.5-million. These funds will be applied toward exploration and development of the Afton mine property and working capital.
