Hassel, yes, Vodafone has an interesting dilemma, whatever they do, they have a problem, now or later.
That is, a situation which is seen as vulnerable by most, start early, lose scale of economics in the future, messy unsecure juggling with equipment,protocols, compatibility,etc. Start later, lose money waiting.
Another important factor is that customers very easy delay decisions when there is something backed by the whole market around the corner.
