Yes. I believe this is the answer. As I have said before only a small amount of Durons will be sold this quarter. AMD could have sold 3 or 4 million Durons this quarter and I think the actual number is going to be between 1 and 2.

This market is so tiny it may not even be worth talking about. The available data to date suggests Durons are being designed into a lot of post-B2S systems. So, September should see a very good uptick in business and October should be super.

Yes, AMD is not being good at this. I consider AMD's IR to be completely ineffective in getting the right spin on the story.

My best guess is that Austin is the only ones making Durons and there hasn't been that many made. IBM Canada and the Compaq 5594 are their test beds?>

I think motherboards are comingup strong now. It is too bad that we had to miss B2S. I doubt if we will see any problems with OEMs or availability starting next month.

My guess is we will see a massive new product and PR campaign in the next two months unlike anything that has ever been done by the company. My only concern is if the infrastructure for these product rollouts will be gltich-free, I am not at all concerned that Wilamette will dent this product roll out in anyway.
