A phenomena that puzzles me about a stock I own is something I see on an almost twice daily basis: someone buys or sells at a substantial premium or discount to the bid or ask. (I am talking about a point or more out of whack sometimes). These are not big sales, nor are they noticably small (either of those I could understand). Also they do not always, or even often indicate the subsequent direction or final close.

Does anyone know what is going on with these trades?
