Of course this shifts value between the productive factors... ie. FROM labour TO capital [ie. stocks]... this was talked about in the 80's and the market correctly 'took off'. However how much further this trend could possibly go is suspect IMO, and at todays prices we may very well be assuming that labor has no value and stock has 100% for the forseeable future... no way to tell for sure... but that would account for all the 'day traders'.
