NEW YORK CITY,—August 9, 2000—ProNetLink.com (OTC BB: PNLK), the Global Trade Internetwork(TM), announced today that Glenn Zagoren, Co-Chairman of ProNetLink.com, has been invited to be participate in the Global Information Economy (GIE) Working Group of the U.S. State Department's Advisory Committee on International Economic Policy (ACIEP). The meetings will be hosted by Ambassador Alan Larson, the Under Secretary of State for Economic, Business and Agricultural Affairs at the main State Department building in Washington.

The Committee will be discussing the Department's cross-sectoral initiative on electronic commerce. One goal of the cross-sectoral e-commerce promotion initiative is to remove the barriers to global e-commerce trade.

At the same time that U.S. e-commerce firms are facing these obstacles, many countries are requesting advice on how best to revise their policies and laws so as to maximize their participation in the global information economy.

Through the Global Information Economy Working Group, Mr. Zagoren will part of a team that will provide advice on what reforms the U.S. Department of State should promote, and how it might best promote them.

Mr. Zagoren is also an advisor to the U.S. Department of Commerce as well as other international governments and organizations.
