Of course I believe it. The only chance Gore has of being elected is a thorough public discussion of the issues. If Bush is allowed to blur the differences, Bush will win because the public will simply say - Time for a change. If the public understands there are real differences with real consequences for the economy, for social security, for the environment, for the minimum wage, for labor - then Gore has a chance.
