I don't recall if this site was shared on this thread but this is one worth looking into: privacy.org I do not have any affliations with this site but I often use it for research as well as SANS.org. By the way, privacy is not absolute in the real world and in cyberspace. We need to have rational expectations of privacy to gauge whether or not we have "lost" any freedoms.
