Lou Duva: Zab ready to unify!
By "Flattop" Scott Pope

Here is what Zab Judah's co-trainer Lou Duva said is next for the IBF jr welter champ after his sensational fourth round stoppage of former champion Terron Millet this past Saturday on Showtime: "We will be sitting down next week to begin talks on unifying the titles. I want to see Zab fighting Sharmba Mitchell (WBA champ) or Kostya Tszyu (WBC champ) this year. If they are not available give us Hector Camacho Jr. The kid is maturing fast in his experience and physically. I wouldn't doubt that we have to move up to 147 at the first of the year but first I want to unify the belts at '40." When asked to comment on Zab's dominating performance, the Hall-of-Fame trainer reminisced, "Zab is a throwback to the days of SweetPea [Pernell Whitaker] with the way he is punching to the body and making his turns. Sometimes the kid is so graceful I begin to think he is taking ballet lessons. Zab is becoming a knockout artist because of the way he is settling down on his punches and if you combine that with his moves.....I don't see a jr welter out there that can beat this kid."

(LPS5 note: Lou, your brain is disengaged. Though I like Zab, I prefer Tszyu, and he's going to pound your man into the canvas.)
