Jim:
I've got an open mind and only want to win, not be married to a stock. So, I appreciate your technical view, which, short term, may be about all we have to guide us. Long term, I am bullish on the technology, so I am biased in favor of the stock. But, of course, we don't know whether AMTX has a business plan or can implement it.
That said, a 50% correction is well within normal reaction and does not mean that investors have abandoned this stock. 18 would have been a 50% correction and the trip to 14-1/2 would have been a "downside breakout."
This is born out by the bad press on AMTX, culminating in the false article stating that AMTX licenses technology from Paradyne. The Paradyne sale was hyped as an excuse to devalue AMTX-- but no real facts were present, just false statements like the licensing statement.
Now an honset view is what we need. If AMTX is a winner, anyone shorting it will be killed and no amount of negative hype will prevent that. If it's a winner, we want to be long.
So anyway, thanks for your observations. Let's keep an eye on it. I'll watch for weakness at 24.
Thanks again
