That story was out of New York. Too bad Hillary doesn't do real press interviews. It would be interesting to hear her comments. I think I read recently that she is on the board of the company that makes Ritalin. Does anyone on the thread recall seeing this???

Maybe I'm too conspiracy minded but I don't like this whole trend of "educators" moving in on pediatrics. The California State Senate recently passed a bill authorizing school-based clinics, which would apparently allow things like psychological testing without parental consent, etc.

It would also permit doctors to interview all kindergarten students and ask them about drug and alcohol use in the home, do their parents watch violent tv shows, who takes care of them when mommy is at work--all kinds of intrusive stuff that is none of the government's business. If the child gives any wrong answers, there's no parent-teacher conference. The report gets turned over to the proper "authorities".
