An anonymous director reports
A step-out vertical drill hole, 30 feet to the north of RL-15, intersected 104 feet of disseminated chalcopyrite-pyrrhotite sulphides. The sulphides are being logged and assayed. The sulphides are in unusual coarse gabbroic rocks that appear similar to those in RL-15, from which 35 feet of enriched platinum-palladium values were discovered.
Located in the Rathbun Lake Peninsula, in the Wanapitei anomaly, northeast of Sudbury, Ont., RL-34 intersected the 104 feet of disseminated sulphides in the unusual coarse gabbroic rock, from 12 to 116 feet.
Previous drilling confirmed that the platinum-palladium-bearing sulphide zone in RL-15 did not extend south or west. In the current drilling program, RL-29 and RL-30, vertical drill holes, drilled to the southeast and east of RL-15, confirmed that the sulphide zone in RL-15 did not extend to the east.
Three short holes were then drilled at the location of mineralized float found 40 feet northwest of RL-15. RL-31 was drilled vertically, RL-32 drilled at 45 degrees to the west and RL-33 at 45 degrees to the east. RL-33 intersected seven feet of disseminated sulphide from 70 to 77 feet. RL-34 was drilled vertically from the location of the short sulphide intersection and intersected 104 feet of disseminated sulphides in the unusual coarse gabbroic rock, 30 feet due north of RL-15.
RL-35 is now being drilled north at 60 degrees from the location of RL-34.
RL-34 has confirmed that the platinum-palladium-bearing sulphide zone, discovered at RL-15, extends to the north. The coarse gabbroic rock, in which the sulphides occur, has been found on the surface 800 feet north, but the ground in between is covered by overburden.
As announced, Flag and Golden Briar are preparing flow-through private placement offering for financing its drill targets in Rathbun, Mackelcan, McNish and Macbeth townships, in the Wanapitei anomaly, subject to regulatory approval.
