pooh, there was a way to fix it..just turned off the mic volume in the panel..now I can hear everyone through the speakers now and not my voice when I speak through the mic. It works fine. I can also plug the mic into the speaker plug on the back of the computer to hear through the headset and not the speakers...two ways to hear.. Thanks for trying to help...
