Thread- I wasn't quite sure how to categorize this PR out of International Fibercom(sym:IFCI). You see it's one of the engineering/construction companies I follow and it's tied directly into the twisted pair offering of digital TV, or VDSL.
What I found most interesting was IFCI's statement about seeing results of Qwest's recent trials of TV over copper. This would most likely mean the old USWest trials. And I thought that project was halted. I'll look it up here on the LMT....well no. I guess it was just a rumor they were going to eliminate VDSL/TV trials. lml posted the story upstream. Here is the pertinent part of the story verbatim-
"Qwest reportedly is looking at the Arizona VDSL service as one of the first to eliminate in a combined company."
So IMO, this little bit of news out of IFCI may be significant for VDSL-TV delivery model. -MikeM(From Florida)
