The version of Willamette that works with Tehama has fewer pins than the version that works with Tulloch. Could that have anything to do with supporting an MTH? The memory the chipset connects to really shouldn't matter to the CPU, but the extra pins on the next version of Willamette do supposedly coincide with non-Rambus memory support.
