Futures markets indicate higher open

NEW YORK (CBS.MW) - Stocks prices are set for small gains at the open, with most of the buying interest concentrated in the tech sector.

September S&P 500 futures added 1.90 points, or 0.1 percent, and were trading roughly 1.70 points above fair value, according to HL Camp & Co. Nasdaq futures, meanwhile, rose 15.50 points, or 0.4 percent.

In the bond market, prices were mixed ahead of Treasury's $5.0 billion 30-year bond auction.

The 10-year Treasury note shed 2/32 to yield ($TNX: news, msgs) 5.92 and the 30-year bond added 1/8 to yield ($TYX: news, msgs) 5.715 percent.
