International Internet Upgrades To Great Plains E-Commerce Solution
BOCA RATON, Fla., Aug 10, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- International Internet, Inc., (OTC:IINN) a leading online source for cigars and cigar accessories, today reported that it has purchased a full e-commerce solution from Great Plains (Nasdaq: GPSI).
When evaluating a new e-commerce solution, International Internet, Inc. consulted with Citrine Technologies, Inc., a Great Plains partner based in Miami, Florida, to develop an integrated system that would allow StogiesOnline to propel its enterprise forward and compete successfully in a global marketplace. After carefully analyzing the workflow processes at StogiesOnline, Citrine Technologies, Inc. proposed a complete front office/back office solution using Great Plains eEnterprise and eCommerce to create a single business solution that seamlessly integrates all company functions.

Brian John, StogiesOnline.com/CigarCigar.com's President stated, "According to Forrester Research, Internet-based businesses who are to survive are those who focus on building an infrastructure that can support high sales volumes and low costs per transactions. We are confident that our new Great Plains solution will help us to build long-term relationships with our customers while enabling us to better limit administrative and other internal costs. This gives us a more complete solution, all from a single vendor.
