freeus=biggest G&K whine baby. We all took a hit. Yes, if we had only sold all long positions and bought short positions. If bullfrogs had wings they could fly!

Buy the way, QCOM is developing a bit of that light springy fealing like an airplane about to take off. It seems to me like forward looking European companies should realize that with first to market advantage in the US, Korea, Japan, canada etc for 1X MC and HDR, content may well be where the real money is at. The value chain will provide and patent innovative applications using the pipeline of 3G wireless transmission. This value chain will grow up in the US and Japan and Korea--but mainly in the US. Thus, by focusing on the pipe which is DS CDMA over 1X MC, the Europeans are buying themselves a permanent disadvantave in content intellectual property---and that's where the money will be going forward-- proving once again that socialist buracracies shoot themselves in the foot when they compete with free economies that allow the free flow of ideas, money and business deals. Look how well DoCoMo has done with their I-Mode content in Japan which appearantly doesn't use hyperlinks but works like a tree branch -- and thus would never be loved in the hyperlink savy US community of kids that grew up on PC internet use.
