I actually agree with the 'left' on the Elian issue. It would set a dangerous precedent to separate him from his surviving parent- whether he was from Cuba or Litchenstein.

I know if my wife had taken my children to Cuba, and died in transit- I would want my children back. Ideologies be damned.
