Andreas, it was 2 guys from the K8 team that I had never heard of. The only ANALyst was Edelstone. There were a lot of questions from the technical media. AMD stressed that this would be an open platform for everyone, not under strict NDA's with certain companies getting more info than others (a direct hit at IA64 in my opinion). A few of the questions directly asked if AMD thought Intel was screwing up with their strategy of IA64. AMD was careful not to say anything dumb and avoided the questions like that. The highlight of the call was a question from someone from Client Server News (as close to the quote as I can remember): "How did AMD manage to extend from 32-bits to 64-bits so quickly, while Intel has spent about a trillion dollars and 8 years?"
